Chief Deputy Christopher Escamilla

Background

Chief Deputy Christopher Escamilla is a life long resident of Gallup and has worked in local law enforcement for the last 22 years. He spent several years with the Gallup Police Department and the NMDPS Motor Transportation Division. 
The majority of his career has been spent with the McKinley County Sheriff's Office as a deputy, K-9 handler, accreditation and training manager, and was appointed as a Captain by both Sheriff Ron Silversmith and Sheriff Felix T. Begay. 

He now serves as the Chief Deputy of the Sheriff's Office handling the day the day operations of the office, overseeing command staff, and managing programs initiated by Sheriff Maiorano.
