Once the Treasurer's office or the State of NM Taxation & Revenue Department, Property Tax Division (PTD) completes their collection efforts for delinquent property taxes, we schedule a tax auction of the properties we were unable to collect taxes. The State of New Mexico, including all Counties, does not conduct tax deed, tax certificate, and tax lien sales. The only property sales conducted by the State, or the Counties, are public auctions due for delinquent property taxes. The Treasurer's Office and PTD conducts all auctions in the County in which the properties are located. Most Delinquent Property Tax Auctions in McKinley County are scheduled and conducted at:
McKinley County Courthouse Building
3rd Floor, Commissioner Chambers
207 West Hill Avenue
Gallup, NM 87301
Unless noted or advertised, Delinquent Property Tax Auctions may be conducted at a different location within the county. Check the auction listings below for more information.
Foreclosure Sales are conducted by banks, mortgage companies and other private organizations.
